Multi-stage science communication model and promotion strategies for popularizing scientific research achievements in scientific journals

摘要:

目的 将科技期刊科研成果科普化纳入科学传播生态和科研管理体系考察,凝练规律性认识和思考框架,形成推进策略建议。 方法 基于中国科学院相关科普新媒体编辑部、战略先导科技专项成果科普化传播团队及若干期刊编辑部的文献梳理、访谈调研、案例剖析结果,对结果进行理论归纳。 结果 提出了“多阶科学传播模型”,阐释了用“分段”观念替代“全程”观念重新思考的必要性,形成了对科技期刊深入开展科研成果科普化的推进策略。 结论 科技期刊须改变“平均用力”的线性策略,在科研成果科普化的不同阶段分重点地对传播者、传播渠道和传播方式进行针对性组合。

Abstract:

Purposes This study aims to integrate popularizing scientific research achievements in scientific journals into the science communication ecosystem and the research management system for evaluation, thereby synthesizing generalized insights and a conceptual framework to propose strategic recommendations for advancement. Methods Based on literature review, interview surveys, and case analysis of popular science new media editorial departments of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, science communication teams for key strategic scientific achievements, and several journal editorial departments, further theoretical induction was conducted. Findings A “multi-stage science communication model” was proposed, emphasizing the necessity of adopting a “segmented” perspective over a “whole-process” approach. Strategies for advancing popularizing scientific research achievements in scientific journals were formulated. Conclusions Scientific journals should move away from a uniform, linear strategy. Instead, targeted combinations of communicators, channels, and methods should be prioritized at different stages of the popularization process to enhance overall effectiveness.
