Characteristics of continuing education training for Chinese scientific journal editors from 2016 to 2022

摘要:

【目的】以中国科技期刊编辑继续教育培训的培训通知为分析对象,为优化培训方案设计和提高培训质量提供参考。【方法】收集2016—2022年中国公开主办的科技期刊编辑继续教育培训课程的相关通知,通过数据统计和内容分析,从多方面调查研究科技期刊编辑继续教育培训的供给侧特征。【结果】科技期刊编辑继续教育培训随着出版行业新技术、新需求的出现以及行政主管部门规定的变化而出现积极的转变,但是仍存在内容同质化、培训方式较单一、培训对象较宽泛、考核形式化等特征。【结论】建议出版行政主管部门加强顶层设计,细化培训方案,不断引导培训机构创新培训形式,为不同培训对象定制、丰富培训内容,以满足科技期刊编辑人员的多元化培训需求。

Abstract:

[Purposes] Taking the notice of continuing education training for Chinese scientific journal editors as the research object, this paper aims to optimize the design of training schemes and improve the quality of the training. [Methods] This paper collected notices of the continuing education training courses for Chinese scientific journal editors from 2016 to 2022 in China. Through data statistics and content analysis, the supply side characteristics of continuing education training were studied from various aspects. [Findings] The continuing education training for scientific journal editors shows positive changes with the emergence of new technologies and new needs in the publishing industry and changes in administrative regulations. However, there are some imperfections: the training contents are homogeny; the training methods are singular; the training object is not targeted, and the training assessment is formalized. [Conclusions] It is suggested that the publishing management departments should strengthen top-level design, refine training schemes, and guide training institutions to innovate training forms and customize and enrich training contents for different training objects, so as to meet the diversified training needs of scientific journal editors.
