摘要：

【目的】了解高校科技期刊青年编辑在学历、职称、工作状况与态度、对收入满意度、学习情况、学术业绩等方面是否存在性别差异,并对其原因进行探讨。分别从编辑部、女性编辑自身角度提出发展建议,为进一步完善青年编辑队伍建设和提升编辑个人职业素养提供参考依据。【方法】2015年5月至8月,采用随机问卷方式,对137名中国高校科技期刊20~40岁青年编辑人员进行了职业发展状况调查。对各统计项的频次和有效百分比进行了计算,并利用spss16.0统计软件,对男女青年编辑的学术业绩差异进行t检验,其他项目差异采用卡方检验。【结果】青年编辑职业发展问卷中各统计项的男女比例均有不同程度差异;男女青年编辑在近3年参加业务骨干、青年编辑培训人数、每周自学时间、人均主持编辑学课题数目方面的差异均存在统计学意义。【结论】性别差异对青年编辑的职业发展有一定影响,但是有限;女性青年编辑不应妄自菲薄,应发挥自身先天优势,更好地为高校科技期刊发展贡献力量。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to understand whether there is gender difference in terms of the educational background,positional title, working status and attitude, salary, study and achievement of young editors in some universities'sci-tech journals and explore the reasons to provide a reference for perfecting the team construction of young editors and promoting self-professional quality from the viewpoints of editorial offices and female editors.[Methods] A random questionnaire survey was conducted w ith 137 samples of young editors of age 20-40 about their career development status from May to August,2015.The data were analyzed by using SPSS16.0 software, the difference in academ ic achievements was done by the t-test, and other indexes were calculated by the chi-square test.[Findings] There is difference in the indexes between male and female young editors; difference is also found in training times, learning time per week, and granted fund item per person between male and female editors.[Conclusions] Gender difference has certain but lim ited influence on the career development of young editors.Editorial offices should attach great importance to the development of young female editors.Meanwhile,the young female editors should not underestimate their own capabilities,but should play their innate advantage tomake contribution to the development of universities'sci-tech journals.
