Abstract:

[Purposes] This study explores the strategies for innovation of business mode of scientific journals amid deep integration of publishing, which is expected to improve the social and economic value of scientific journals in China. [Methods] With the methods of literature analysis, case study, and induction and deduction, we analyzed the elements of business modes of scientific journals, traditional business mode of the journals, and integrated publishing of scientific journals in China and abroad, thereby summarizing the strategies for business mode innovation of scientific journals in China in the new situation. [Findings] Multiple value propositions including the functional value, the social value, and the economic value are proposed according to users' needs. We should emphasize platform construction to reconstruct business system, attract diverse stakeholders for creating value, and improve platform efficiency with advanced technology, thereby developing the innovative mode centering on digital products and services. [Conclusions] Scientific journals should keep pace with the times to apply innovative concepts such as service first and ecological integration to the deep integration of journal publishing and innovate business mode on the premise of social responsibility, thereby better adapting to the reform.

【目的】探究出版深度融合视阈下科技期刊商业模式创新策略,提高我国科技期刊的社会价值和经济价值。【方法】以文献分析法、案例研究法和归纳演绎法,通过对科技期刊商业模式要素和传统科技期刊商业模式的分析,以及对国内外科技期刊融合出版产业的研究,归纳演绎出新情境下我国科技期刊商业模式创新策略。【结果】针对用户需求提出功能价值、社会价值和经济价值等多元价值主张;实施平台化战略,再造业务体系,吸引多角色入场,形成价值共创,并以先进技术提升平台效能;构建以数字产品和服务为核心的创新盈利模式。【结论】科技期刊出版者应加强现代意识,把服务为先和生态融合等创新理念应用于期刊出版深度融合,在社会责任大框架之下积极进行商业模式创新,为科技期刊注入更多从容应对变革的力量。
