Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper discusses the methods of scientific journals to realize agenda setting and the effect, so as to provide a reference for quality development of them. [Methods] Through literature research and case study, we summarized the main strategies for achieving the agenda setting and analyzed their roles. [Findings] Via special columns, cover articles, new media communication, and conferences, scientific journals play the role of agenda setting, thus improving the social influence and communication power. [Conclusions] Members in the journal community and ecosystem, including chief editor, editorial board members, manuscript reviewers, members of the editorial department, authors, and readers, should intensify the efforts for agenda setting to improve journal impact.

【目的】探讨科技期刊发挥议程设置作用的方法和效果,为科技期刊高质量发展提供借鉴与参考。【方法】通过文献调研和案例研究的方法,提出科技期刊议程设置的主要路径,并分析其作用。【结果】科技期刊通过专题栏目、封面文章、新媒体传播、会议培训等形式,积极主动发挥议程设置作用,可有效提升期刊的社会影响力和传播力。【结论】期刊共同体和生态圈中的参与者,包括主编、编委、审稿专家、编辑部成员和作者、读者等,应该积极作为,采用多种方式,更好地发挥期刊议程设置作用,从而提升期刊影响力。
