Abstract:
[Purposes] This paper aims to discuss the change in the reading trend of Chinese scientific journals in the future and contribute to serving the innovative development strategy of Chinese scientific journals and building of world-class scientific journals based on the integration of metaverse technology and Chinese scientific journals. [Methods] By means of literature analysis and comparative study, this study clarified the connotation and development trend of metaverse reading in Chinese scientific journals, discussed the challenges in the future development, and put forward corresponding suggestions. [Findings] Scientific journals integrating the concept and technology of the metaverse can optimize and transform the reading space, visual experience, division of labor, and payment mode. [Conclusions] Compared with digital reading, the metaverse reading shows the development trends of virtual reading space, three-dimensional visual experience, vague division of labor, and sharing of payment motivation. The construction of metaverse reading of Chinese scientific journals faces challenges in technical resources, reader experience, data security, etc.

【目的】 从元宇宙技术与我国科技期刊相融合的角度,探讨中国科技期刊未来阅读趋势变革,为服务我国科技期刊创新发展战略、建设世界一流科技期刊贡献力量。【方法】 采用文献分析、对比研究等方法明晰中国科技期刊元宇宙阅读的内涵与发展趋势,探讨中国科技期刊元宇宙阅读在未来发展中面临的挑战并提出相应建议。【结果】 科技期刊融合元宇宙理念和技术,将实现阅读空间、视觉体验、人员分工、付费模式4个方面的优化与转变。【结论】 与数字阅读相比,科技期刊元宇宙阅读表现出阅读空间虚拟化、视觉体验三维化、人员分工模糊化、付费动机分享化等发展趋势,我国科技期刊元宇宙阅读建设面临技术资源、读者体验、数据安全等方面的挑战。
