以Researching为例谈科技期刊英文数字出版与传播平台建设

Taking Researching as an example to study the construction of English digital publishing and dissemination platform for scientific journals

摘要:

【目的】从中国激光杂志社实施数字出版与传播平台国际化战略的角度,总结Researching平台的建设方案先进性和服务刊群发展的有效性。【方法】结合文献调研,分析现有英文数字出版与传播平台建设的不足。对Researching平台筹办、建设模式、核心技术、重要功能、刊群服务等方面进行多角度梳理和分析。以期刊国际化发展为核心,分享Researching平台服务刊群出版与传播的有效举措。【结果】Researching平台的建设目标是利用云服务模式,构建自主、安全、可靠、可扩展、可复制的英文数字平台。在建设与运营过程中,Researching平台不断深化对集群化理念的实践,极大地促进光学学科优秀期刊的培育和发展。【结论】采用云服务架构和自主研发模式建设英文科技期刊数字出版与传播平台,既能有效利用现有平台建设的有益经验和数据优势,又能积累自主知识产权的技术,同时打造一支优秀的团队,促进科技期刊集群的国际化发展,探索科技期刊集群“造船出海”的有效途径。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This study aims to evaluate the advanced nature of the Researching platform's construction and its effectiveness in serving scientific journals, from the perspective of the internationalization strategy of digital publishing and dissemination platforms implemented by the Chinese Laser Press. [Methods] Combining literature research, we analyzed the shortcomings of existing English digital publishing and dissemination platforms. We provided a comprehensive review and analysis of the Researching platform's preparation, construction model, core technologies, key functions, and journal cluster services. We focused on journal internationalization and shared effective measures for the Researching platform in publishing and disseminating scientific journals. [Findings] The goal of the Researching platform's construction is to develop an independent, secure, reliable, scalable, and replicable English digital platform using a cloud service model. Throughout its construction and operation, the platform has deepened the practice of clustering concepts, significantly promoting the cultivation and development of leading optics journals. [Conclusions] Establishing an English digital publishing and dissemination platform for scientific journals using a cloud service architecture and a self-developed model not only capitalizes on existing best practices and data advantages but also develops proprietary technologies and builds a strong team. This approach enhances the internationalization of scientific journal clusters and provides effective strategies for sustainable global expansion.
