Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to reveal the integrated development and mutual promotion between first-class university journals with Chinese characteristics and construction of "double first-class". [Methods] Journal of Central South University (Science and Technology) and Journal of Central South University were taken as examples. The service role of them in the construction of "double first-class" was analyzed from talent education, faculty construction, academic research, achievement transformation, discipline development, and international communication. Furthermore, the feedback effect of "double first-class" construction on the development of university journals was discussed. [Findings] Journal of Central South University (Science and Technology) and Journal of Central South University are systematically associated with the construction task of "double first-class". They play a positive role in six aspects, including cultivating top-notch innovative talents, building first-class faculty, improving scientific research, promoting the spread and transformation of research achievements, assisting the development of interdisciplines, and strengthening international cooperation and communication. The "double first-class" construction has brought core authors, first-class editorial experts, and high-quality manuscripts, which improves the social services, academic leadership, and international impact of university journals. [Conclusions] University journals need to fully integrate with the "double first-class" construction according to the domestic conditions and face the world, so that they can work together toward the same goal and make progress.

【目的】 研究培育中国特色一流科技期刊进程中,一流高校学报与“双一流”建设的融合发展与相互促进的作用。【方法】 以《中南大学学报(自然科学版)》和《中南大学学报(英文版)》的办刊实践为例,从人才培养、师资建设、学术研究、成果转化、学科发展,以及国际交流等方面分析高校学报对“双一流”建设发挥的服务作用,并总结“双一流”建设对高校学报的反哺作用。【结果】 《中南大学学报(自然科学版)》和《中南大学学报(英文版)》系统对接“双一流”建设任务,在培养拔尖创新人才、助力师资队伍建设、提升科学研究水平、推进科研成果传播转化、促进交叉学科发展,以及加强国际合作交流6个方面发挥积极作用。同时,“双一流”建设给高校学报带来了核心作者队伍、一流编委队伍、优质稿源,可促进高校学报社会服务能力、学术引领能力和国际影响力的提升。【结论】 中国特色一流高校学报需要与“双一流”建设进行“三位一体”的融合,立足本土、面向世界,让两者并驾齐驱、协调共进。
