期刊红点指标与期刊评价指标的相关性研究——以医学综合类期刊为例

Correlation of red point factor and journal evaluation indicators:Taking medical comprehensive journals for examples

摘要:

【目的】 分析医学综合类期刊红点指标与其他21项期刊评价指标的相关性,探讨提高期刊红点指标的有效途径。【方法】 选取2018年版《中国科技期刊引证报告(核心版)》的医学综合类期刊(共41种)为研究样本,将红点指标与其他21项期刊评价指标作为研究对象,进行Spearman相关分析。【结果】 红点指标与11项评价指标呈正相关,即总被引频次、引用刊数、权威因子、来源文献量、文献选出率、AR论文量、地区分布数、机构分布数、学科扩散指标、学科影响指标、总被引频次的离均差率;与3项评价指标呈负相关,即扩散因子、被引半衰期、引用半衰期;与7项评价指标无相关性,即影响因子、即年指标、他引率、开放因子、基金论文比、综合评价总分、影响因子的离均差率。【结论】 红点指标作为期刊评价指标是科学合理的,它对提高论文显示度、期刊学术传播能力和学术权威性具有重要意义;通过控制载文量、注重引文时效性、谨慎选择文章关键词等途径可有效提高红点指标。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to investigate the correlation between red point factor and other 21 evaluation indicators in medical comprehensive journals and discuss the effective ways to improve the red point factor. [Methods] Medical comprehensive journals in Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports (2018 Edition) were selected as the study samples, and the correlation between red point factor and other evaluation indicators were did by Spearman correlation analysis. [Finding] Red point factor is positively correlated to total citation, number of citing journals, authority factor, literature quantity, literature selection rate, quantity of AR papers, area distributing number, organization distributing number, discipline diffusion index, discipline influence index, and centrifugal rate of total citation, but it is negatively correlated to diffusion factor, cited half-life, and citing half-life. There is no correlation between red point factor and impact factor, immediacy index, non-self-cited rate, open factor, ratio of fund article, comprehensive evaluation score, and centrifugal rate of impact factor. [Conclusions] Red point factor is suitable as an important indicator for the journal evaluation. It is important for improving the visibility of papers and enhancing academic communication ability and academic authority. It can be improved by controlling the number of published papers, focusing on the timeliness of references, carefully selecting keywords of papers, and so on.
