摘要：

【目的】 探索科技期刊精选具有国际和国内重大影响的科学家、重大历史事件的纪念节点,策划出版具有科学性、新闻性专题的方式方法,从而达到弘扬科学家精神、提升期刊影响的效果。【方法】 以《科技导报》出版的“纪念师昌绪先生诞辰100周年”和“纪念黄昆先生诞辰100周年”2个专题为例,分析科技期刊纪念性专题的选题特色、约稿特色及出版特色,探索科技期刊展现科学内容与人文内容的可行方法。【结果】 《科技导报》发挥自身优势,策划出版的科学家百年诞辰系列专题启发了社会热点,引起广泛关注,有助于科技期刊吸引优质稿源,提升其在科技工作者心目中的地位,扩大学术和社会影响力。【结论】 科技期刊精选著名科学家的重大历史事件出版纪念专题,不仅能丰富选题内容、提高约稿效果,而且能弘扬科学家精神、实现科普效能,是提升期刊影响、打造期刊品牌的有效途径之一。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to explore the ways of scientific journals to select junctures in honor of influential scientists and historical events in China and abroad and to publish related scientific and newsworthy issues, thus carrying forward scientist spirit and enhancing the influence of journals. [Methods] Taking the two special issues "Marking 100 years since Shi Changxu's birth" and "Marking 100 years since Huang Kun's birth" of Science & Technology Review as examples, the paper summarized the characteristics of topic selection, solicitation, and publication of commemorative issues by scientific journals and probed into the feasible methods of them to display both scientific and humanistic knowledge. [Findings] Based on its unique characteristics, Science & Technology Review published the series of 100th Anniversaries of Scientists, which aroused hot spots and attracted wide attention. Such special series can help scientific journals to attract high-quality papers, improve their status among scientific researchers, and strengthen their academic and social influence. [Conclusions] Publishing commemorative issues on major historical events of famous scientists can not only enrich the content of topics and improve the contribution-soliciting efficiency, but also carry forward scientist spirit and realize science popularization. Thus, it is an effective approach to enhance the influence and build brands for scientific journals.
