【目的】 探讨科技期刊客座编辑团队的组建方法及其对提高期刊专刊/专栏组约成功率的作用,以期为拟设立客座编辑职位的期刊提供参考。【方法】 以《中国天然药物》为例,从招聘流程、工作职责、运行与激励机制3个方面出发,介绍客座编辑团队成员的遴选条件和实施效果。【结果】 通过由客座编辑确定专刊/专栏的选题方向、负责组约稿件、参与同行评议等方式,可充分调动客座编辑主观能动性,提高专刊/专栏的组约成功率,提升专刊稿件质量,同时扩大学者的学术影响力,助力学者成长。完善的客座编辑制度是实现专家办刊的重要途径。【结论】 客座编辑是科技期刊的核心竞争资源,是期刊与专家建立联系的重要途径,科技期刊应注重发掘和管理,尽快建立客座编辑制度,促进客座编辑队伍建设与效能发挥,助力期刊长效发展。
[Purposes] This paper explores the method of forming a guest editorial team for scientific journals and its role in improving the success rate of special issue/column, in order to provide reference for the journals that intend to establish guest editorial positions. [Methods] Taking Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines (CJNM) as an example, the selection conditions of the guest editorial team members were analyzed and proposed from the three aspects of recruitment process, job responsibilities, and operational and incentive mechanism. [Findings] By determining the topic selection direction of special issue/column, being responsible for solicit contributions, and participating in peer review, the subjective initiative of guest editors can be fully mobilized, the success rate of the special issue/column can be improved, the quality of the special manuscript can be enhanced, and the scholar's academic influence can be enhanced. A perfect guest editorial system is an important way to achieve the journal operation by experts. [Conclusions] Guest editors are the core competitive resource, and are an important way for journals to establish contacts with experts. Scientific journals should focus on excavation and management, establish guest editorial systems as soon as possible, and promote the construction and effectiveness of guest editorial teams to facilitate long-term development of journals.
