摘要：

【目的】了解医学期刊对不同体裁论文字数的要求。【方法】随机抽取中华系列、大学学报系列、国际系列等医学期刊160种为研究对象,收集整理每种期刊2014、2015年稿约对不同体裁论文字数的要求。【结果】要求论著和综述论文总字数不超过5000字、病例报告论文总字数不超过1500字的期刊居多。60种期刊明确要求论文总字数包括摘要、图表及参考文献在内。79种期刊要求论著论文中英文摘要字数一样多。多数期刊未明确要求参考文献数目。【结论】160种医学期刊稿约对不同体裁论文字数的要求不完全相同。医学期刊应根据论文体裁合理限定总字数。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims at investigating the requirements of the number of words of some medical periodicals.[Methods]The subm ission guidelines in 2014 and 2015 of 160 kinds of medical periodicals,including the Chinese journal series,the university journal series and international journal series,were collected to investigate the requirements of the number of words of different types of papers.[Findings]Most periodicals required the total number of words of original articles and reviews notmore than 5000 and the total number of words of case reports notmore than 1500.60 periodicals explicitly required the total number of words including the number of words of the abstract,charts and references.And 79 periodicals required the same number of words in English and Chinese abstracts.Most periodicals did not explicitly require the number of references.[Conclusions] The requirements of 160 medical periodicals on the numbers ofwords are notexactly the same.The totalnumber of words can be limited according to the form of the paper.
