摘要：
目的 总结《光学学报》采用专题编辑(Topical Editor, TE)送审稿件的经验,为科技期刊提高学术质量提供参考。方法 依据严格的标准遴选了22位TE,并将传统审稿流程中的编辑送审改为TE送审。根据研究方向从2017年7月至2018年6月的来稿中挑选459篇交由TE送审。从稿件送审数量、平均外审周期、审稿意见等方面评价TE送审模式的实施效果。结果 TE可以精准地送审稿件,提高期刊学术质量,节省编辑时间。结论 TE送审可以进一步提高中文科技期刊的学术质量。

Abstract:
[Purposes] This paper aims to summarize the experience of manuscript review assignment by topical editors (TEs) in Acta Optica Sinica, and provide reference for scientific journals to improve academic quality. [Methods] Twenty-two TEs were selected with high standards, and handled the peer review process of 459 manuscripts from July 2017 to June 2018. Their work was evaluated by the number of manuscripts, average period of peer review, review comment, and so on. [Findings] TEs can accurately assign the manuscript review, improve the publishing quality, and save the editors' time. [Conclusions] TEs can help editors improve the publishing quality, so it is worthy of manuscript review assignment by TEs for Chinese scientific journals.
