【目的】 调研SCI收录的非英语科技期刊办刊现状,以期为我国中文科技期刊提升国际影响力提供借鉴。【方法】 基于WoS、InCites、JCR等数据库及相关网站调研,了解非英语期刊在相关数据库中的表现,调研分析21种Q1和Q2区非英语期刊的相关数据,并总结非英语期刊特征,进而提出提升我国中文科技期刊影响力的建议。【结果】 13种期刊为纯英语出版,年发文量相对较大,稿件来源国分布比较广,出版国发文占比非常低,期刊影响因子略高,但不太稳定,自引率相对较低,总被引频次较高且逐年上升;8种非英语或者混合语种出版期刊多为相关学会主办,年发文量比较低,稿件来源国比较少,出版国发文占比非常高,期刊影响因子略低,但比较稳定且呈逐年上升趋势,自引率相对较高,总被引频次相对较低。【结论】 中文科技期刊首先要明确期刊定位,在此基础上有针对性地调整期刊报道范围、提升期刊出版质量、缩短期刊出版周期、必要时提供双语出版、借助国际化平台提升传播力,进而吸引高水平稿源。
[Purposes] This paper investigates the status quo of SCI-indexed non-English-language STM journals, which is expected to serve as a reference for improving the international influence of Chinese STM journals. [Methods] Based on the investigation of WoS, InCites, JCR, and related websites, this paper probed into the performance of non-English-language journals in relevant databases, investigated and analyzed the data of 21 Q1 and Q2 non-English-language journals, summarized their characteristics, and then put forward suggestions for improving the impact of Chinese STM journals in China. [Findings] Among the 21 journals, 13 have been published in English only, which feature large number of annual articles, authors from a wide range of nationalities, low proportion of papers from native scholars, and unstable high impact factor, low self-citing rate, and high total cites rising year by year. The rest 8 have been published in non-English language or English combined with a non-English language, which are basically sponsored by national or regional societies and characterized by small number of annual papers, authors from a small range of nationalities, high proportion of papers from native scholars, low stable impact factor on the rise, high self-citing rate, and low total cites. [Conclusions] On the premise of a clear orientation, Chinese STM journals should make appropriate adjustment on the report scope, improve publishing quality, shorten publishing cycle, provide bilingual publishing when necessary, and enhance dissemination with the help of international platforms, in an attempt to attract high-level papers.
