摘要:

【目的】 探究美国化学学会(American Chemical Society, ACS)的检索平台SciFinder对期刊发展的推动作用。【方法】 分析ACS近15年的年报和相关文献、资讯,分析SciFinder产生的条件及其对期刊业的重塑作用。【结果】 SciFinder本质上是一种数据流出版,ACS旗下期刊被整合进数据流,期刊品牌与技术平台品牌相融合。【结论】 我国可借鉴ACS的相关经验,重视机器行动力,设立专门的信息技术服务部门,推动专业性数字出版平台建设及市场化运营。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to explore how SciFinder promotes American Chemical Society's scientific journal development. [Methods] The annual reports and related literature and information of the American Chemical Society in the past 15 years were analyzed to elucidate the background of SciFinder and SciFinder's reshaping of the journal industry. [Findings] SciFinder is essentially a data flow publication and American Chemical Society's journals are integrated into the flow, thus achieving the win-win situation between the journals and the platform. [Conclusions] With reference to the relevant experience of American Chemical Society, China can give full play to the role of machine-actionability and set up information technology service department, thereby promoting the construction and marketization of professional digital publishing platform.
