高校社科学报数字出版与网络传播:困境与破解

Digital publishing and network communication of university journals of social sciences: Dilemma and solutions

摘要:

【目的】 对高校社科学报的数字出版和网络传播存在的问题进行定量分析,建构符合其“人文社科属性”的数字出版、网络传播路径,为高校社科学报的可持续发展提供理论参考和实践路向。【方法】 采用问卷调查和统计分析方法,以线上和线下相结合的方式随机抽取135种高校社科学报的数字出版和网络传播现状,对129名编辑进行问卷调研和专题访谈,比较其官方网站、采编系统和微信公众号的状况,并对科研工作者及其对数字出版和网络传播的态度进行深度访谈。【结果】 高校社科学报存在数字出版、网络传播专项经费匮乏,硬件设施参差不齐,硬件利用率不高;发行量和网络浏览量偏低,网络化、数字化建设意识不强;缺少数字编辑人才,多数编辑是文科专业毕业,数字素养偏低;学术产品的“二次加工”“精准传播”能力不足,编辑网络传播意识不强等问题。【结论】 高校社科学报应扬长避短,发挥文化引领作用;抓住国家开发全流程数字出版平台的机遇,购买或联合自建新型数字出版平台;依托高校“人才”优势掌握“智能化”编辑手段,创新信息管理模式;利用高校“群聚”优势,以“社科学报+”为抓手,与计算机学院、信息工程学院、网络中心、图书馆等部门“强强联合”,发挥传播合力;细分内容传播渠道,加强高校社科学报内容“深度加工”“二次传播”;自主建构或购买“自动化”“一键式”“智能化”数字出版和网络传播平台,变被动为主动,凝聚传播效力。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper performs the quantitative analysis of problems in digital publishing and network communication of university journals of social sciences (UJSSs) in the new era and constructs the digital publishing modes and communication methods suited to the characteristics of "humanities and social science" of such journals, which is expected to provide theoretical reference and practice orientation for the sustainable development of UJSSs. [Methods] A questionnaire (in both electronic version and paper version) was designed and distributed to 135 UJSSs which were randomly selected for the investigation of digital publishing and network communication. In addition, 129 editors were surveyed with a questionnaire and random interview. The informations from official websites, editing systems, and WeChat official accounts were compared. Researchers were interviewed about the trend of digital publishing and network communication as well as their attitudes. [Findings] UJSSs face such problems as deficiency of special funds, uneven hardware facilities, low utilization rate of hardware, low circulation, small network page view volume, low intention of networking and digitalization, lack of digital editors (most editors are of liberal arts majors with low competency in digitalization), low ability in secondary processing and precision dissemination of academic products, and no emphasis of editors on network communication in digital publishing and network communication. [Conclusions] UJSSs should foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses to play a role in leading in culture, seize the opportunity in the current situation to purchase or jointly build a digital publishing platform, rely on the talents in universities to master the intelligent editing means and innovate the information management mode, and make full use of the clustering of universities to enhance dissemination with the help of school of computer, school of information engineering, network center, library and other departments based on "journals of social sciences +", and subdivide the content communication channels to boost the deep processing and secondary communication of journal content.
