【目的】 探索新的编校机制,提升科技期刊出版效率和发文质量,增强科技期刊的学术竞争力和市场竞争力。【方法】 分析编校业务现状及产生原因,探讨如何将科技期刊的编辑加工与校对工作分离出编辑部,以便编辑将更多的精力放在提升期刊的核心竞争力上。【结果】 编辑忙于繁重的文字编校工作,对期刊学术质量投入减少;以适当的形式将编校工作交由独立的编校主体完成,可调整编辑人员的工作重心,使其更关注组稿约稿、选题策划,以及追踪科技前沿等,有助于提升科技期刊的发文质量和竞争力。【结论】 可通过编校机制改革,将编校业务分离出编辑部,有利于期刊的高质量和高效率发展。
[Purposes] This paper aims to explore a new mode of editing and proofreading, which is expected to improve the publishing efficiency and paper quality and further enhance the academic and market competitiveness of scientific journals. [Methods] In view of the problems in current editing and proofreading and the causes, we discussed the feasibility of separating editing and proofreading of scientific journals from editors' work, so that they could focus on improving the core competitiveness of journals. [Findings] Editors are busy with editing and proofreading and thus spend little time and energy on the academic quality of journals. Handing editing and proofreading to independent editing departments allows editors to devote to contribution soliciting, topic planning, and tracking of science and technology frontiers, which can help improve paper quality and competitiveness of scientific journals. [Conclusions] Separating editing and proofreading from editors' work is conducive to the high-quality and high-efficiency development of scientific journals.
