【目的】 探讨科技期刊与青年学者互促共进、协同发展的模式与实现路径。【方法】 以《煤炭科学技术》为例,通过组织、策划青年人才科技成果专题/专栏,开展论文写作指导与培训活动,构建期刊与青年学者学术共同体,利用多媒体宣传平台推荐青年学者的原创性科技成果等举措,为青年学者的成长成才提供平台和机遇。根据青年学者精力充沛的特点,邀请青年学者从撰稿、组稿、审稿,担任期刊青年编委、专栏主编,合作策划学术会议,宣传期刊等方面多渠道深度参与期刊出版工作,助力期刊高质量发展。【结果】 构建并依托期刊青年专家学术委员会,密切期刊与青年学者的互动,2016—2019年组织策划了“煤炭行业青年人才科技成果专栏”“煤炭行业青年科学家学术专栏”“国家自然科学基金青年科学基金专栏”“青年博士学术专栏”等针对青年学者成果的特色专栏,共发表优秀论文140余篇;青年专家学术委员会成立近3年来,青年专家委员审稿500余篇,约占期刊总审稿工作量的1/3,合作策划学术会议3次,共500多人次参会,彰显了期刊影响力。【结论】 科技期刊发展与青年学者成长关系密切。聚焦青年科学家,是践行科技期刊繁荣学术发展,履行发现和培养青年学术人才社会责任的具体体现。反过来,青年科学家为科技期刊的发展提供了源源不竭的动力,是推动科技期刊高质量发展的加速器。
[Purposes] This paper aims to explore and analyze the ways of cooperation between scientific journals and young scholars. [Methods] The essential function and influence of scientific journals in academic circles should create conditions for young scholars to display their talents and stand out. Young scholars with active innovative thinking, sufficient motivation for scientific research, and high enthusiasm for participating in journal operation provided an important talent guarantee for the construction of first?class scientific journals. Taking Coal Science and Technology as an example, the platform and opportunity were provided for the growth of young scholars by organizing and planning special topics/columns of achievements of young scientific and technological talents, conducting paper writing guidance and training activities, building academic community of journals and young scholars, and using multimedia publicity platform to recommend original scientific and technological achievements of young scholars. At the same time, with the energetic characteristics, young scholars are invited to participate in the publishing work of journals in depth through various channels, such as writing, organizing and reviewing contributions, serving as the editorial committee member and column chief editor of journals, cooperating in planning academic conferences, and promoting journals, so as to promote the high?quality development of journals. [Findings] Through the establishment of the academic committee of young experts and the close interaction between journals and young scholars, in 2016—2019, we organize and plan the column of scientific and technological achievements of young talents in the coal industry, the column of scientific and technological achievements of young scientists in the coal industry, the column of young science foundation of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the column of academic achievements of young doctors, and other special columns for young scholars. Over 140 excellent papers have been published; over the past three years, more than 500 papers have been reviewed by the young experts' academic committee, accounting for about 1/3 of the total review workload of the journal, 3 academic conferences have been jointly planned, and more than 500 young scholars have participated. [Conclusions] Scientific journals have close relationship with young scholars. Focusing on young scientists is a concrete embodiment of the social responsibility to practice the prosperity of academic development of scientific journals and to fulfill the social responsibility of discovering and cultivating young academic talents. On the other hand, young scientists provide inexhaustible power for the development of scientific journals, which is an accelerator to promote the high?quality development of scientific journals.
