论文数据可重复性问题剖析及一种解决方案

摘要:

【目的】 为提高期刊论文透明度和可读性,研究一种解决方案,使论文与其背后的数据、代码等科研要素有效关联,以支持研究结果的可重复验证。【方法】 首先,分析科研成果无法重复验证的现状和主要原因;其次,调研针对该问题目前的解决方案及局限;最后,设计出一种嵌入科研要素以支持在线重复验证的新型出版模式。【结果】 基于Apache Tomcat环境,在Java开发的论文发布平台上实现程序调用,在线验证论文研究结果。【结论】 所设计的在线重复验证新型出版模式丰富和补充了中国科技期刊的出版模式。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper provides a solution to the reproducibility of published research outcomes by associating the research elements such as data and codes with research results, which is expected to enhance the readability and transparency of journal articles. [Methods] We first described the current reproducibility crisis and analyzed the reasons. Then, we summarized the solutions to this problem and their limitations through investigation and finally designed a new type of publishing that supports online reproducibility verification via research elements. [Findings] Based on Apache Tomcat web server, the program was invoked on the paper publishing platform developed with Java and the research results were verified online. [Conclusions] The new type of publishing with the function of online reproducibility verification provides more choices for scientific journals in China.
