摘要:

【目的】 对我国英文科技期刊的编辑队伍进行摸底调研,为相关部门决策提供可靠的参考信息。【方法】 通过发放调查问卷、实地走访及举行座谈会等方式,对我国英文科技期刊编辑的年龄和学历构成、培训情况、待遇水平、职业发展等因素进行归纳总结。【结果】 对于待遇水平、职业发展及队伍稳定性等要素的调研反馈不容乐观,主要表现在对编辑职业缺乏足够的职业认可和尊重;对编辑岗位所需要的专业背景及专业分工缺乏足够的认识。【结论】 战略层面上必须将编辑人才和科研人才同等对待;战术层面上必须落实政策真正调动编辑人才的积极性,这样才能吸引优秀人才,推动中国英文科技期刊的可持续性发展。

Abstract:

[Purposes] To provide reliable reference information for decision-making departments, we conduct a survey of the editorial team of English scientific journals in China. [Methods] We summarized the age composition, educational level, training, and career development of the editorial team through surveys, interviews, and seminars. [Findings] We have got negative feedback on factors such as salary, career development, and staff retention, which is largely due to the lack of recognition and respect for the editor and the lack of sufficient knowledge of the professional background and professional division required for the editor. [Conclusions] We suggest that at the strategic level, editors and scientists must be treated equally; at the tactical level, the policy to mobilize editors' enthusiasm must be implemented. Thus, we can attract outstanding talents and promote the sustainable development of English scientific journals in China.
