Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to explore the career status, demands, and development strategies of the young editors of scientific journals in Chinese Academy of Sciences in the digital environment. [Methods] By collecting relevant data in various forms, such as data analysis of journals, questionnaire survey, individual interviews, and small seminars, the feature portrait of young editors in Chinese Academy of Sciences was drew, and the development strategies were proposed based on SWOT analysis. [Findings] Young editors have a strong academic background, and have high aspirations and expectations for the scientific journals. Most of them are optimistic, and have a strong sense of responsibility and mission. They have already felt the impact of the digital environment on scientific journals and need to supplement the relevant knowledge. Meanwhile, they are not very good at communication and journal management. [Conclusions] It is necessary to fully explore and mobilize the initiative of young editors, give them more opportunities, and lay a solid foundation for the innovation and development of Chinese scientific journals.

【目的】探讨数字环境下中国科学院科技期刊青年编辑队伍的发展现状,探寻编辑人员的诉求和发展对策。【方法】通过数据统计分析、问卷调研、个别访谈、小型研讨会等形式采集信息和相关资料,对中国科学院科技期刊青年编辑进行特征画像,并基于SWOT分析提出对策。【结果】青年编辑有较深厚的学术背景,对科技期刊出版有较高的抱负与期待,乐观向上,办刊的责任感和使命感强烈。他们已经感受到数字环境对学术期刊的影响,亟需补充相关知识,同时,在沟通交流方面有待加强,不太擅长期刊经营。【结论】需重视并充分调动青年编辑的能动性,给予他们更多的学习和成长的平台和机会,为我国科技期刊的创新发展夯实人才基础。
