Abstract:

[Purposes] In the context of running world-class scientific journals, it is important to rebuild and close the relationship between scientific journals and academic communities, build an academic community with journals as the core, and attract outstanding talents to join the publishing team, so as to run high-quality scientific journals. [Methods] By analyzing the relationship between scientific journals and academic communities, this paper took the journal group of the Publishing and Media Group of China Coal Research Institute (CCRI) as an example and expounded on the paths and effects of scientific journals in establishing an academic community. Meanwhile, it was pointed out that as the link between them, editors should play more roles in strengthening the cohesion of academic communities. [Findings] To gather excellent talent resources, the Publishing and Media Group of CCRI has established more than 30 academic communities by focusing on the establishment of editorial committees, youth editorial committees, peer review expert teams, and special editorial teams, supplemented by the establishment of academic exchange organizations with the author and reader resources as the core. By inviting members of the academic community to deeply participate in journal publishing activities, collaborating on academic activities, jointly planning hot topics for publication, and opening new columns, the academic community of the journal has been well operated, and publishing capabilities have been effectively improved. [Conclusions] The academic community is an important force for running journals. Editorial offices should pay attention to the establishment and operation of the academic community of journals, explore the win-win development mode between them, and jointly promote the high-quality development of journals.

【目的】在建设世界一流科技期刊的大背景下,重新建立与密切科技期刊与学术共同体的关系,构建以期刊为核心的学术共同体,吸引更多优秀人才加入办刊队伍,对建设高品质科技期刊具有重要意义。【方法】在分析科技期刊与学术共同体关系的基础上,以煤炭科学研究总院出版传媒集团刊群为例,阐述科技期刊组建学术共同体的路径及成效,提出编辑作为期刊与学术共同体的纽带,应在增强学术共同体凝聚力方面发挥更多作用。【结果】煤炭科学研究总院出版传媒集团以凝聚优秀人才资源为目的,以成立编辑委员会、青年编辑委员会、审稿专家队伍、特约编辑团队为主要抓手,以成立以作者读者资源为核心的学术交流组织为补充,组建学术共同体30余个。通过邀请学术共同体成员深度参与期刊出版活动、合作举办学术活动、共同策划出版热点选题、开设新栏目等手段运营期刊学术共同体,办刊能力得到有效提升。【结论】学术共同体是重要办刊力量,编辑部应重视期刊学术共同体的组建与运营,探索建立学术共同体与期刊合作共赢的发展模式,共同推进期刊高质量发展。
