Abstract:

[Purposes] This study aims to extract the characteristics of science videos with plagiarism and provide practical recommendations for scientific journals to prevent research outcomes from being edited into inappropriate science short videos by collecting and analyzing short science videos with plagiarism. [Methods] Content analysis was employed to probe into the data of science short videos from multiple perspectives. The characteristics of plagiarism in these videos were summarized and the impacts of these videos on the dissemination of research findings and scientific journals were analyzed. [Findings] The plagiarism of research results from scientific journals in science short videos damages the academic reputation of scientific journals. Moreover, the fragmented and inaccurate dissemination of research findings through these videos confuses public perceptions. [Conclusions] Scientific journals can take measures to prevent and control the plagiarism of science short videos by strengthening cooperation with sponsors in science popularization and promotion, enhancing copyright awareness, and promoting the improvement of regulatory frameworks. Furthermore, they can collaborate with science video bloggers to achieve mutual benefits, advocate platform regulation, and establish a mechanism for the authorization of secondary creations.

摘要:

【目的】 通过对洗稿科普短视频的收集及分析,提炼洗稿短视频的特征,为科技期刊预防研究成果被洗稿成科普短视频提出可实施的建议。【方法】 采用内容分析法,对数据进行多维度分析,归纳科普短视频对科技期刊研究成果洗稿的特征,分析其对研究成果传播和科技期刊的影响。【结果】 科普短视频洗稿会影响科技期刊学术形象,研究成果碎片化和不准确传播使公众产生负面认知。【结论】 科技期刊可以通过联合主办单位加强科普宣传与推广,强化版权意识、推动完善法规体系,与科普短视频博主合作实现优势互补,推动平台监管、建立二次创作授权机制来实现对科普短视频洗稿的防治。
