Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to investigate the contribution of resource integration to the development of scientific journals, sum up the improving path of ability of scientific journal operation, and provide some ideas for running scientific journals in the new period. [Methods] Taking Progress in Pharmaceutical Sciences as an example, the practice of improving the abilities of core leadership, soliciting contribution, extended service, science and technology communication, and sustainable development were introduced, which were obtained by integrating multiple resources. [Findings] The publication vitality of Progress in Pharmaceutical Sciences is greatly enhanced, and the operation ability is effectively promoted. Thus the functions of scientific journals in displaying the achievements of scientific research, leading discipline development, facilitating the academic exchange, and accelerating knowledge transmission are fully embodied. [Conclusions] The comprehensive utilization of resources of publication subjects, expert resources, communication resources, and human resources lay a solid foundation for the integral improvement of operation ability, construct the ecological chain of journal development, and improve the sustainable development ability.

【目的】探讨资源整合对科技期刊发展的贡献,总结出提高期刊办刊能力的方向,为新时期科技期刊办刊提供借鉴。【方法】以《药学进展》为例,介绍期刊通过多种资源的整合,提升期刊核心领导力、组稿策划能力、期刊延伸服务能力、科技传播力以及可持续发展能力的运营实践。【结果】在整合利用各项资源的基础上,《药学进展》的办刊活力得到极大增强,办刊能力有效提升,在展示科研成果、引领学科发展、促进学术交流、加快知识传播方面的作用得到充分体现。【结论】办刊主体资源、专家资源、传播资源、人力资源的综合利用为科技期刊办刊能力的整体提升夯实基础,有效构建期刊发展生态链,提高期刊可持续发展能力。
