摘要:
目的 基于国内外代表性综合性科技期刊所发表论文(期刊影响因子计算中的分母文章)的学科分布统计数据,比较分析不同期刊的学科格局,旨在为我国打造兼顾学科均衡的世界一流综合性科技期刊提供参考。 方法 选取Nature, Science, PNAS, National Science Review, Science Bulletin等5种英文综合性科技期刊,参考各刊投稿系统建立学科分类标准,并统计各刊在统计时段内发表分母文章的学科分布情况,最后依据中国学者在Nature, Science, PNAS中发表论文的学科分布情况提出适合国产综合刊的“合理学科布局”。 结果 通过系统分析,提出了适合我国综合刊当前时期的“合理学科布局”,即生命科学与医学类、物质科学、地球与环境科学的文章比例约为45%∶45%∶10%;该比例与“中国卓越科技论文”产出的学科分布整体一致,印证其合理性;基于此比例,建议我国综合刊适当提高生命科学与医学类文章的发表比例。 结论 本研究的数据统计和相关建议可为我国综合性科技期刊的学科布局规划提供数据支撑与决策依据。

Abstract:
Purposes By exploring the subject distribution in multidisciplinary scientific journals, this study aims to provide references for high-quality development of multidisciplinary journals in China. Methods Five English-language multidisciplinary scientific journals—Nature, Science, PNAS, National Science Review, and Science Bulletin were selected. A subject classification standard was established by referring to their submission systems, and the subject distribution during the statistical window was analyzed. Based on the subject distribution of papers by Chinese authors in Nature, Science and PNAS, a “reasonable subject layout” suitable for China’s multidisciplinary journals was proposed. Findings A “reasonable subject layout” for China’s multidisciplinary journals was proposed: approximately 45% life sciences and medicine, 45% physical sciences, and 10% earth and environmental sciences. Accordingly, we recommend appropriately increasing of the proportion of life sciences and medicine articles. Conclusions The data analysis and recommendations in this study can provide a basis for the disciplinary planning of multidisciplinary scientific journals in China.
