科技期刊学科集群发展模式研究——以英国皇家化学会刊群为例

Subject cluster development mode of scientific journals:Taking the journal cluster of Royal Society of Chemistry as an example

摘要:

目的 通过研究英国皇家化学会期刊学科集群发展模式,探寻对我国科技期刊集群发展有益的启示。方法 采用文献调研法和网站查阅法,研究英国皇家化学会在新刊孵化、编辑出版流程、品牌推广方面采取的措施。结果 通过加强国际合作、专业分工、数字出版、市场化运作等策略,英国皇家化学会刊群进入良性发展轨道。结论 学科集群是科技期刊集群发展的重要模式,我国科技期刊应借鉴英国皇家化学会期刊集群的成功经验,积极提升资源整合能力,注重品牌建设,提高数字化出版和市场化运作水平,从而提升中文科技期刊集群的竞争力。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to study the cluster development mode of Royal Society of Chemistry’s journals, and to explore the experiences and inspiration for Chinese scientific journals. [Methods] Through literature review and data analysis from websites, the strategies in the journal found, editing and publishing process, and brand promotion of the cluster development of Royal Society of Chemistry were studied. [Findings] The journals of Royal Society of Chemistry have a healthy development by the strategies of international cooperation, specialized division, digital publishing, and successful marketization operation. [Conclusions] Subject cluster development is an important mode for the Chinese scientific journal clusters. In order to improve the competitiveness, Chinese scientific journal clusters should learn from the successful experiences of Royal Society of Chemistry, consolidate integration ability of sources, strengthen the brand construction, and improve the ability of digital publishing and marketing operation.
