摘要：

【目的】促进中文科技期刊更好地参与国际学术交流,准确地反映中文科技期刊在国际上的显示度。【方法】针对我国一些较有影响的中文科技期刊的英文刊名与国外英文期刊的刊名雷同现象,分析了产生这一现象的原因及其危害,提出了应对策略。【结果】指出中文科技期刊参与国际学术交流应注意自身英文刊名的唯一性。【结论】相关期刊和期刊管理部门应引起重视,以免因英文刊名雷同给读者、文献情报人员带来不便,影响期刊在国际上的有效传播和期刊的显示度。

Abstract:

[Purposes] The goal of this paper is to promote the international academ ic communication of Chinese scientific journals and accurately reflect the international visibility of Chinese scientific journals.[Methods] W ith a view to the fact that the English titles of some influential Chinese scientific journals are sim ilar to the titles of foreign English journals,the paper analyzed the reasons and damages of this phenomenon,and put forward strategies to solve the problem.[Findings] The paper points out that the Chinese scientific journals should pay attention to the uniqueness of their English journals’titles for internationalization.[Conclusions] The related Chinese scientific journals and adm inistrative departments should pay attention to the problem to avoid causing inconvenience for readers and document intelligence personnel and to avoid negatively influencing effective international communication and journal visibility.
