Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper discusses the functional characteristics of the SciOpen platform, compares developed international platforms, and puts forward optimization suggestions, so as to provide reference opinions for the growth and promotion of China's independent platform. [Methods] With the methods of literature research, interviews, etc., we used SciOpen and international digital publishing platforms and made a comparative analysis of their functions, and some optimization suggestions were put forward in terms of the journal scale, content standardization, management digitization, and retrieval. [Findings] With the support of Excellence Action Plan for China STM Journals, China's digital publishing and communication platform has developed rapidly. Relying on Chinese academic resources and advanced technology, SciOpen has innovated the development model and formed a variety of features, and it can meet the requirements of scientific journals for using a high-quality digital publishing platform. [Conclusions] SciOpen still needs to be optimized in terms of platform scale, standardization, retrieval, etc. It is hoped that through technology iteration, policy support, and joint efforts of the publishing industry, SciOpen can achieve sustainable development and contribute to the high-quality development of scientific journals and national science and technology innovation.

摘要:

【目的】 探讨SciOpen平台功能特点,对比国际成熟平台,提出优化建议,以期为我国自主平台提升和推广提供参考意见。【方法】 深入使用SciOpen和国际数字出版平台,结合文献研究、调研等方法,提炼SciOpen平台内容服务与功能特征,将SciOpen和国际数字出版平台的功能设置进行对比分析,在刊群规模、内容标准化、管理数字化、检索等方面提出优化建议。【结果】 在“中国科技期刊卓越行动计划”的支持下,我国科技期刊数字出版与传播平台快速发展,SciOpen依托我国学术资源与先进技术,创新发展模式,形成多种特色功能,满足科技期刊对高质量数字出版平台的使用需求。【结论】 SciOpen在平台规模、标准化、检索等方面仍需不断优化,希望通过技术迭代、政策支持与出版行业共同努力,平台实现可持续发展,助力科技期刊高质量发展与国家科技创新。
