Abstract:

[Purposes] The acceptance of preprints in Chinese scientific journals remains relatively low despite their normalization. This paper aims to explore suitable methods for Chinese scientific journals to cooperate with preprint platforms by summarizing existing international cooperation models between preprint platforms and journals. [Methods] We used literature review and case study methods to sort out cooperation examples of journals and preprint platforms in the world. [Findings] We outline three models of cooperation: one-way transfer from journals to preprint platforms, one-way transfer from preprint platforms to journals, and bilateral transfer between both. [Conclusions] We suggest that Chinese journals can collaborate with preprint platforms in manuscript submission, review, and open access storage.

摘要： 【目的】 预印本的使用已经常态化,而我国科技期刊对预印本的接受程度仍然相对较低。通过对国际上科技期刊与预印本平台协同发展的典型模式进行归纳,探索适合我国科技期刊与预印本平台合作的方法。【方法】 通过网络调研和文献梳理的方式,整理一批国际期刊与预印本平台合作的案例。【结果】 国际期刊与预印本平台协同发展模式可分为3种:从预印本平台到期刊的单向传输、从期刊到预印本平台的单向传输以及期刊与预印本平台的双向传输。【结论】 我国科技期刊可以从稿源、审稿及开放获取存储3个方面入手与预印本平台建立合作关系。
