摘要：

【目的】 测度中国英文学术期刊的国际传播能力,为提升中国期刊的国际影响力和国际学术话语权提供决策支撑。【方法】 构建基于社交媒体的中国英文学术期刊论文传播广度、强度和速度等指标,测度中国英文学术期刊的国际传播能力,利用统计分析和非参数检验揭示各学科论文的传播特征。【结果】 不同学科期刊论文在传播广度、传播强度和传播速度的总体分布上存在显著差异。自然科学与工程技术领域,工程科技Ⅱ、基础科学和医药卫生科技领域论文的传播能力明显优于其他学科中的期刊论文;人文社会科学领域中,Journal of Sport and Health Science一枝独秀。【结论】 应挖掘各学科领域热点选题,加强期刊的建设、宣传与推广;推进落实系列发展行动计划,加大对人文社科类英文期刊的扶植力度;鼓励科研人员参与科学传播,提升社交媒体传播技能,从而进一步提升中国英文期刊传播能力。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to measure the international dissemination capacity of English academic journals in China, so as to provide decision-making support for improving the international influence of Chinese journals and enhancing the power of international academic discourse. [Methods] Based on social media, the paper constructed the indicators of dissemination breadth, intensity, and speed of English academic journals in China to measure the international dissemination ability of English academic journals in China. Statistical analysis and non-parametric test methods were used to reveal the dissemination characteristics of papers in various disciplines. [Findings] There are significant differences in the overall distribution of dissemination breadth, intensity, and speed of journal papers in different disciplines. In the field of natural science and engineering technology, the dissemination capacity of papers in engineering science and technology Ⅱ, basic science, and medicine and health science and technology is significantly better than that of journal papers in other disciplines. In the field of humanities and social sciences, Journal of Sport and Health Science stands out. [Conclusions] We should explore hot topics in various disciplines and strengthen journal construction, publicity, and promotion; advance the implementation of a series of development action plans and increase the support for English journals in the humanities and social sciences; encourage scientific researchers to participate in science communication and improve the skills of communication in social media to further enhance the dissemination capability of English journals in China.
