我国化学类科技期刊与学科发展匹配度分析及启示

摘要:

【目的】 在全球范畴下讨论中国化学类科技期刊与学科发展的匹配度,考量中国化学类科技期刊的学科发展环境、取得的成效与存在的不足,助力中国化学期刊高水平发展。【方法】 以Web of Science(WoS)化学相关分类遴选SCI收录的21种中国化学科技期刊,以WoS论文为数据基础,从规模、影响力、国际显示度等维度对我国化学学科与化学科技期刊的发展情况进行定量描述。结合问卷调查,了解化学领域科研人员的国内外发文倾向、对国内期刊论文的利用度及对中国化学科技期刊的评价,以及国内化学科技期刊的稿源情况、出版速度、自身评估、与学科匹配度等方面的情况。【结果】 近年来,中国化学期刊的国际影响力明显提升,但期刊整体规模偏小,中国化学期刊在国际竞争中表现不突出,尚不能匹配学科发展。【结论】 依托中国化学学科的科研产出体量和水平,中国化学期刊应重视科研人员需求,合理调节所刊载的国际论文和自主论文的比例;明确自身优势,开拓差异化发展方向,加快与学科发展的融合与契合。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to investigate whether China's chemistry journals have kept pace with the development of chemistry on a global scale. To be specific, the development environment, achievements, and limitations of China's chemistry journals are analyzed, which is expected to boost their development. [Methods] A total of 21 SCI-indexed China's chemistry journals in Web of Science (WoS) were selected. Then, based on WoS database, the development of chemistry and chemistry journals in China was quantified from the aspects of the scale, influence, and international competitiveness. With the method of questionnaire survey, we investigated the tendency of chemistry researchers to publish paper in China and abroad, the utilization of China's papers, and the evaluation of China's chemistry journals. Moreover, we also probed the contribution sources and publication cycle of China's chemistry journals, as well as their self-evaluation and matching degree with the development of chemistry. [Findings] In recent years, China's chemistry journals have seen the improvement in international influence, but they have such weakness as small scale, low competitiveness, and lagging behind the development of chemistry. [Conclusions] According to the research outcome and research level in China's chemistry, China's chemistry journals should emphasize the needs of researchers, reasonably adjust the proportion of papers from China and abroad, and adopt a development method suited to their advantages, thereby keeping up with the development of chemistry.
