编辑出版类Top100高被引论文的分析及启示——以科技期刊为主题的研究

Analysis and enlightenment on Top100 highly cited papers in editing and publishing area with the theme of scientific journals

摘要:

【目的】 通过对“科技期刊”研究主题高被引论文的研究,全面梳理编辑出版类Top100高被引论文的研究重点、内容概况、引用情况等,揭示不同时期期刊人关注的热点以及期刊人普遍关注的主题,为编辑出版类选题制定、稿件遴选、核心作者人才培养、提高办刊质量等提供思路。【方法】 在中国知网上以“科技期刊”为主题进行检索,共检索出84028篇论文。共有106篇文章的被引频次超过50次(含50次),定义为Top100论文。统计Top100论文的研究方向、各个方向论文的被引频次、刊发期刊的情况等。【结果】 Top100论文共被引用了7622次,平均72次/篇。其中60篇发表在《编辑学报》上,33篇发表在《中国科技期刊研究》上,共占论文总数的87.7%。论文主要分布在如下16个方向上:期刊评价和引文分析、国际化、改革与发展、审稿、网络化及网站建设、参考文献、基金资助、编辑素质和培养、新媒体、选题组稿和栏目、学术不端、数字出版、开放获取、经营模式、作者群、摘要。【结论】 以科技期刊为主题的高被引论文大多集中在与期刊发展密切相关、可操作性较强的领域,与期刊人关注的主题相关,与作者知名度、刊发期刊有关。研究结果对科技期刊建设、稿件遴选、人才培养等有较强的指导和推动作用。

Abstract:

[Purposes] Through the study of highly cited papers with the theme of scientific journals, this paper comprehensively summarizes the research topics, content, and citation of the Top100 highly cited papers, thus revealing the short- and long-term research hotspots in editing and publishing area to facilitate topic selection, manuscript selection, core author cultivation, and journal quality improvement. [Methods] With the theme “scientific journal”, a total of 84028 papers were retrieved from CNKI. Totally 106 papers with ≥50 cites were selected and defined as the Top100 papers. The research direction, cites in each direction, and journal information were analyzed. [Findings] The Top100 papers were cited 7622 times in total, with an average of 72 cites per paper. Among them, 60 were published in Acta Editologica and 33 in Chinese Journal of Scientific and Technical Periodicals, taking up 87.7%. The Top100 papers are mainly involved in the following 16 directions: journal evaluation and citation analysis, internationalization, reform and development, peer review, networking and website construction, references, funding, editor competency and training, new media, topic selection, contribution soliciting and column design, academic misconduct, digital publishing, open access, operating mode, author group, and abstract. [Conclusions] Highly cited papers with the theme of scientific journal mostly focus on the directions concerning journal development with strong operability, which is related to the topics concerned by scholars in editing and publishing area, the popularity of the authors, and the journals. The results are expected to guide and promote the development of scientific journals, manuscript selection, and talent training.
