开放科学背景下科技期刊生态链的变革与发展策略

摘要:

【目的】探讨开放科学背景下,科技期刊生态链的变革与发展策略。【方法】 主要采用网络和文献调研法、类比分析法、举例分析法等研究科技期刊生态链上的角色、功能,及其在开放科学背景下的变革、面临的挑战和发展策略。【结果】 科技期刊生态链涵盖科研成果从产生到传播的全过程,包括生产者(研究人员、作者、评审者、编辑等)、消费者(研究人员、读者、社会公众、企业等)和分解者(数据库、存档服务平台、学术出版平台、索引服务平台等),各角色相互作用、影响和支撑。【结论】 科技期刊生态链可优化科技期刊出版模式与评价体系,加快其对前沿技术的应用,促进知识的快速传播与跨学科的合作交流,也可提升科学研究的可再现性和可验证性。与此同时,在经营模式、期刊质量控制、出版伦理、数字版权等方面也面临诸多新的问题。科技期刊生态链各主体需要适应角色变迁,及时调整出版服务模式,优化经营模式,推出出版道德伦理政策,加强平台技术防护,从而促进开放科学背景下科技期刊生态链的可持续发展。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This study aims to explore the transformation and development strategies of the ecological chain of scientific journals under the background of open science. [Methods] We mainly adopted methods such as network and literature research, analogy analysis, and example analysis. These methods were used to analyze the roles on the ecological chain of scientific journals and to introduce their functions, as well as their changes, challenges, and development strategies in the context of open science. [Findings] The ecological chain of scientific journals covers the entire process of scientific research achievements, from generation to dissemination. It includes producers, such as researchers, authors, reviewers, and editors; consumers, such as researchers, readers, the public, and enterprises; and decomposers, including databases, archiving service platforms, academic publishing platforms, and indexing service platforms. Interactions, influences, and support occur among these various roles. [Conclusions] The ecological chain of scientific journals has optimized both the publishing mode and the evaluation system of scientific journals. It has accelerated the application of cutting-edge technologies, promoted the rapid dissemination of knowledge, facilitated interdisciplinary cooperation and exchange, and enhanced the reproducibility and verifiability of scientific research. At the same time, many new issues arise in business modes, journal quality control, publishing ethics, digital copyright, and other aspects. Each link in the ecological chain of scientific journals needs to clarify its main responsibilities and adapt to new role changes. Furthermore, it is important to adjust publishing service modes promptly, optimize business modes, introduce ethical policies for publishing, strengthen platform technology protection, and promote the sustainable development of the ecological chain of scientific journals under the background of open science.
