国际科技期刊研究的特征与演进——基于WoS的文献计量分析(1980—2022)

摘要:

【目的】 通过分析国际科技期刊研究的特征与演进情况,为加快我国世界一流科技期刊建设的理论和实践提供参考。【方法】 基于文献计量学方法,分析1980—2022年被Web of Science核心合集收录的科技期刊研究文献1345篇,并使用VOSviewer和CiteSpace软件对其进行数据可视化。【结果】 在国际科技期刊研究领域,美国、西班牙、中国在发文和引文数量上都位居前列;主要共被引核心人物为Garfield E、Moed H F、Leydesdorff L;研究主题聚类包括开放获取、影响因子、文献计量学、评价指标、科学出版;整体演化历经评价指标再构建、网络议题兴起、交叉学科结合3个阶段。【结论】 观察科技期刊研究领域的整体发展,建议从国际评价体系建立与合作、借鉴优秀成果与时代趋势、学术评价新指标构建与发表等方面着力,以便面向全球吸纳创新资源,更好地推动我国世界一流科技期刊的全面发展。

Abstract:

[Purposes] By analyzing the characteristics and evolution of international scientific journal research, this study provides a reference for the theory and practice of building world-class scientific journals in China. [Methods] Based on the bibliometric method, 1345 documents related to scientific journal research included in the core collection of Web of Science from 1980 to 2022 were analyzed and their data were visualized using VOSviewer and CiteSpace. [Findings] In the field of international scientific journal research, the United States, Spain, and China top in the number of articles published and the number of citations. The co-cited core authors are Garfield E, Moed H F, and Leydesdorff L. The theme clusters include open access, impact factor, bibliometrics, evaluation indicators, and scientific publishing. The overall evolution trend exhibits three phases: re-construction of indicators, emergence of online issues, and integration of interdisciplinary disciplines. [Conclusions] In view of the overall development in scientific journal research, it is recommended to improve the establishment and cooperation of an international evaluation system, draw on the excellent results and trends of the times, and construct and publish novel indicators for academic evaluation. These efforts are expected to absorb innovative resources globally and better promote the overall development of world-class scientific journals.
