Media convergence spreading mode of Weibo, WeChat, and client-side: A case study of geoscience scientific journals

摘要:

【目的】 探索地学科技期刊“两微一端”融媒体平台的发展方向和途径,提出地学科技期刊融媒体传播策略。【方法】 通过普查法统计2017—2018年度《中国科技期刊引证报告(核心版)》收录的130种地学类核心期刊的微信平台、科学网微博、超星客户端的建设及运营情况,采用R语言随机森林回归模型对各平台宣传指标的传播贡献力进行分析。【结果】 地学期刊“两微一端”融媒体建设中存在明显的学科差异和地域差异,平台互动性较弱,不同平台间缺乏内容联动,通过贡献力分析发现微信平台用户关注量对期刊传播效力的贡献最大。【结论】 地学科技期刊需要通过多媒介导引、精细化用户管理、设立微刊专栏、规范平台管理制度、打造集群化融媒体平台等经营策略,有效推进期刊“两微一端”融媒体平台建设,提升我国地学科技期刊融媒体传播力。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to explore the development direction and approach of media convergence platform of Weibo, WeChat, and client-side for geoscience scientific journals, and propose a strategy for the dissemination of media convergence for geoscience scientific journals. [Methods] The construction and operation of 130 geoscience core journals included in the 2017-2018 "Chinese Sci-Tech Journal Citation Report (Core Edition)" were collected through the census method, and the R Language Random Forest Regression Model was used to analyze the communication contribution of platform publicity indicators. [Findings] There are obvious discipline and region differences in the construction of media convergence of Weibo, WeChat, and client-side in geoscience journals, the platform interaction is weak, and content linkage among different platforms is lacking. Through contribution analysis, it is found that the user attention of WeChat platform has the greatest effect on journal dissemination. [Conclusions] Multi-media guidance, detailed user management, setting up publicity column, regulating management regulations, and building a clustering media convergence platform may effectively promote the construction of media convergence platforms of Weibo, WeChat, and client-side, and enhance the dissemination of media convergence for Chinese geoscience scientific journals.
