Communication skill between editors and authors in the rejection of academic periodicals

摘要:

【目的】 研究学术期刊退稿中编辑与作者的沟通技巧和将消极因素转变为积极影响的退稿通知书写形式。【方法】在互联网时代,探讨学术期刊编辑处理退稿时用心交流、辅以技巧、媒介融合的交流理念和沟通技巧。【结果】 通过编辑与作者用心沟通交流,增加作者信赖感和忠诚度,扩大作者队伍,提升期刊影响力,树立期刊负责任的品牌形象;构建起作者、编辑、学术期刊之间的和谐生态圈,提高学术期刊竞争力。【结论】 在互联网时代,学术期刊编辑必须因地制宜,采取媒介融合的手段,运用交流理念和沟通技巧,有效地解决退稿问题。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This study aims to discuss the communication skill between editors and authors in the rejection of academic periodicals, and transform the negative factors into the positive ones in the rejection information form. [Methods] We proposed the new thinking of periodical paper rejection under the internet era, discussed the effect of communication by heart and skills, and the media convergence in the rejection. [Findings] Based on the communication with authors by heart in the paper rejection process, the author's trust and loyalty are increased and the author's team is expanded. The periodical impact is elevated and the responsible brand image is built. The sustainable cooperation ecology among authors, editors and journals is established to increase the competition ability of academic periodicals. [Conclusions] Academic periodicals must adjust measures to local conditions and adopt the media convergence strategies and communication skills to resolve the rejection problems effectively.
