Abstract:
[Purposes] This paper aims to analyze the development trend of China's chemistry journals indexed by SCI in the past 10 years and their roles in international communication. The matching degree between the outputs of chemistry discipline and the articles of SCI-indexed chemistry journals in China is given, to provide a reference for the construction of first-class journals in advantageous disciplines. [Methods] The performance of SCI-indexed chemistry journals in China in terms of scale, influence, and internationalization was analyzed by bibliometric method, while the status of articles from Chinese scholars in the chemistry field was given. [Findings] From 2009 to 2018, the influence of SCI-indexed chemical journals in China continued to increase, but the number of papers continued to decline. The international visibility of journals needs to improve. The publishing language may influence the performance of SCI chemistry journals, and English is better than Chinese. The scale and influence of chemistry journals in China are far from meeting the needs of discipline development. [Conclusions] Chemistry journals in China have good foundation for development. We propose that chemistry journals in China can improve in terms of scale and quality, and attract high-quality manuscript sources in this field, so as to support the development of chemistry discipline in China.

【目的】 分析中国化学学科SCI收录期刊近10年的发展态势及其在国际交流中发挥的作用,研究中国化学期刊与学科发展的匹配度,为优势学科的一流期刊建设提供参考。【方法】 采用文献计量学方法定量分析中国化学学科SCI收录期刊在规模、影响力和国际显示度方面的客观表现,并对中国学者在化学领域的发文情况进行分析。【结果】 2009—2018年,中国化学学科SCI收录期刊影响力不断提升,但载文量却不断下降,期刊的国际显示度一般,英文期刊表现略优于中文期刊。对比中国本领域的发文情况,化学期刊的规模、影响力均远不能满足学科发展需求。【结论】 我国化学类科技期刊有良好的发展基础,建议化学期刊扩大总体规模、提升学术影响力、吸引本领域优质稿源,更好地发挥科技期刊“龙头”和“龙尾”的作用。
