Abstract:

[Purposes] The paper aims to analyze enhanced publishing practices in high-impact international chemistry journals, uncovering content-enhancement strategies and knowledge-service initiatives of publishers, in order to offer insights for national journals.[Methods] Twelve internationally renowned chemistry journals were selected as research subjects. Through empirical analysis, this study systematically investigated their enhanced publishing strategies across dimensions such as HTML-based reading, multimedia integration, and data linking. Additionally, the knowledge service measures adopted by publishing institutions-including user experience optimization and open science practices were explored. [Findings] The research revealed that international journals widely adopt structured HTML, graphical abstracts, and supplementary materials (e.g., videos, code) to enhance data comprehensiveness and accessibility. Cross-platform integration of experimental data is achieved through partnerships with specialized databases (e.g., CCDC, GitHub). Publishing institutions further optimize user experience and knowledge acquisition efficiency by leveraging differentiated operational strategies on social platforms (e.g., Twitter, Bilibili) and open science initiatives (e.g., ChemRxiv preprints), significantly improving the depth of academic dissemination and user engagement.[Conclusions] High-impact international chemistry journals have markedly enhanced the efficiency of academic communication and user experience through data-driven content strategies, multimedia integration, and open science practices. National academic journals should draw on these experiences by constructing data-driven knowledge frameworks, advancing integrated journal clusters and platform development, and fully utilizing multi-channel dissemination platforms. These suggestions will elevate the quality of enhanced publishing and strengthen global competitiveness in alignment with evolving trends in academic publishing.

【目的】 通过分析国际高影响力化学类学术期刊的增强出版实践,揭示内容增强策略及出版机构的知识服务举措,为国内学术期刊提供可借鉴的经验,推动其增强出版水平的提升。【方法】选取12种国际高影响力化学类学术期刊作为研究对象,通过实证分析,从 HTML 阅读、多媒体融合、数据关联等维度,系统性调研其增强出版策略,并探究出版机构在知识服务、用户体验优化与开放科学实践方面的支持举措。【结果】国际期刊普遍采用结构化HTML、图文摘要及补充材料(含视频、代码等)提升数据的全面性与可访问性,并通过与专业数据库(如CCDC、GitHub)的关联,实现实验数据的跨平台整合;出版机构则依托社交平台(如Twitter、B站)差异化运营和开放科学实践(如ChemRxiv预印本服务)优化用户体验与知识获取效率,显著提升了学术成果的传播深度与用户参与度。【结论】 国际高影响力化学期刊通过数据驱动的内容增强策略、多媒体融合及开放科学实践,显著提升了学术成果的传播效率和用户体验。国内学术期刊应借鉴其经验,构建数据驱动的知识架构,推进期刊集群与平台一体化建设,并充分利用多元传播平台,以提升增强出版水平与国际竞争力。
