【目的】 全面调查我国普通高校学报办刊现状,解决基础数据不充足、不精准的问题,为制定普通高校学报发展政策、改革方案,以及开展高校学术期刊研究提供数据支撑。【方法】 通过国家新闻出版署官方网站、中国知网、学报官方网站调查统计普通高校学报的数量、文种、出版地、出版周期、主办单位、刊名、学科属性、载文量变化趋势,并划分“双一流”高校、普通本科高校、高职高专院校3类主办单位层次进行对比分析。【结果】 截至2020年5月26日,我国共有普通高校学报1257种(不含港澳台地区),819种为双月刊;“双一流”高校主办学报122种,普通本科高校主办992种,高职高专院校主办143种;自然科学与工程技术类学报457种,人文社会科学类456种,自然科学与工程技术和人文社会科学混合型315种;近10 年整体载文量呈现明显的下降趋势。【结论】 普通高校学报是极具特色的学术期刊,是我国学术期刊的重要成员,“大综合”并不是普通高校学报的主体。建议增加期刊登记信息的发布数量,促进普通高校学报专业化转型,通过政策引导加强内容建设。
[Purposes] We investigate the status quo of ordinary university journals in China to provide sufficient and accurate basic data for relevant research and the formulation of related development policy and reform plan. [Methods] The number, language, publication place, publication cycle, sponsor, name, discipline, published paper quantity trend of ordinary university journals were surveyed on official websites of National Press and Publication Administration, CNKI, and these journals. The sponsors were classified into three levels of double first-class universities, common universities, and higher vocational colleges, and journals sponsored by different levels of universities and colleges were compared. [Findings] As of 26 May, 2020, there are 1257 university journals in China (Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan of China excluded) and 819 of them are bimonthly. In addition, 122, 992, and 143 are sponsored by double first-class universities, common universities, and higher vocational colleges, respectively. There are 457 journals of natural science and engineering technology and 456 of humanities and social science, while 315 are comprehensive journals. The number of papers published on these journals has shown an obvious downward trend in the past 10 years. [Conclusions] The ordinary university journals are characteristic academic journals, which occupy an essential position among academic journals in China. Comprehensive journals take up a small proportion of them. It is suggested that ordinary university journals should make more information of them available, seek a path of specialization, and improve academic quality under the supervision of related policies.
