高校综合性学报的专业化转型与精品化发展——基于《食品科学技术学报》的案例分析

Professional transformation and high-quality development of comprehensive journals in universities: A case study on Journal of Food Science and Technology

摘要:

【目的】 高校综合性学报的专业化转型和更名已经成为期刊界的一种特殊现象,探索刊物转型和更名后的发展可以为其精品化发展提供参考。【方法】 以《食品科学技术学报》(原《北京工商大学学报(自然科学版)》的转型和更名为例,分析高校综合性学报转型和更名的主、客观原因,以及转型和更名过程中存在的主要问题。【结果】 介绍《食品科学技术学报》转型和更名过程中的探索和努力,以及期刊快速发展,进而成为食品行业精品学术期刊的艰苦实践;总结期刊成功转型和在短期内成为行业精品期刊的经验。【结论】 高校综合性学报的专业化转型和精品化发展应依托学校的优势学科精准定位;做好顶层设计,避免与行业期刊内容雷同;转型和更名后做好全方位宣传,尽快形成期刊品牌;充分发挥期刊主编行业领军者的强大号召力;建设热爱期刊事业并富有使命感的高素质编辑队伍;争取主办单位的全力支持等。

Abstract:

[Purposes] The professional transformation and renaming of comprehensive journals in universities to professional journals has become a special phenomenon. This paper aims to explore the development of the journals after their transformation and renaming to provide reference for the high-quality development of comprehensive journals in universities. [Methods] The subjective and objective reasons of this phenomenon were analyzed, and the main problems during the period were explored by taking the practice of the transformation, renaming, and high-quality development of Journal of Food Science and Technology as a case study. [Findings] We introduce the exploration and experience of the journal during the processes of transformation, renaming, and high-quality development, and summarize the experience of successful transformation and becoming the industry high-quality journals in a short time. [Conclusions] The professional transformation and high-quality development of comprehensive journals in universities should rely on the superior discipline of the university to form a precise subject orientation of the journal; concentrate on the top level design of the journal before the transformation and renaming to avoid similarity with the journal of the industry; conduct full range of publicity and form a high-quality brand of the journal; give full play to appeal of the chief editor of the journal in the industry; build a high-quality editorial team that loves the career of journals and has a sense of mission; and get the strong support via many ways from the sponsors.
