【目的】 对比分析中外生物类英文SCI收录期刊论文引言部分的体裁特征,找出国内外作者在宏观语步结构和微观步骤选择方面的显著差异,为国内作者论文写作提供借鉴。【方法】 从生物学领域的权威中外英文SCI收录期刊中分别选取第一作者母语为英语或中文的论文各40篇,根据修正的CARS模型对引言部分的体裁特征进行定性和定量分析。【结果】 中外英文SCI收录期刊论文引言的宏观体裁结构相似,但是在微观步骤选择方面,国内作者忽视了中心议题的建立和理论背景的介绍,缺乏从研究背景向现有研究的过渡,未能有效聚焦现有研究、吸引读者的阅读兴趣。【结论】 国内SCI论文作者和期刊编辑应深入了解国际学术社团的写作规约,熟练掌握SCI论文的语篇构建机制和纲要式结构,进一步规范国内英文SCI收录期刊的语言表达。
[Purposes] Generic features of the introduction sections in English SCI papers published in international and domestic biology journals are analyzed contrastively to find out the significant differences in the structure of moves and the selection of steps between native English and Chinese authors, so as to provide valuable reference for the writing of Chinese authors. [Methods] Forty articles with native English or Chinese authors were randomly selected from prestigious international and domestic SCI-indexed English journals in the field of biology. A modified CARS model was employed to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of the generic features of the introduction sections. [Findings] The macro-generic structures of the introductions of SCI papers published in international and domestic journals are similar. However, as to the selection of steps, Chinese authors usually neglect to claim centrality and introduce the theoretical background, overlook the transition from research background to current research project and fail to bring focus to current research and attract readers' interest in reading the paper.[Conclusions] Chinese authors and journal editors should know more about the writing conventions of the international academic community, better grasp the mechanism of discourse construction and schematic structure of SCI papers and further standardize the language expression in Chinese SCI-indexed English journals.
