面向期刊评价的s指数构造及实例研究

摘要：

【目的】探讨基于被引频次的s_c指数和基于下载频次的s_d指数在多学科期刊评价中的应用情况。【方法】利用中国知网数据库,以2011—2015年理、工、农、医、社会科学五大学科期刊的下载频次和被引频次为基础,构造期刊s_d指数与s_c指数,比较2011—2015年不同学科样本期刊的s_d指数、s_c指数的相关性变化情况以及与其他期刊评价指标的关系。【结果】与h指数相比,s指数更适合综合评价期刊的影响力;2011—2015年理、工、农、医学科样本期刊的s_d指数、s_c指数相关性高于社会科学,各学科在2013年和2014年相关系数波动较大;除社会科学学科外,2011—2015年其余学科样本期刊的s_d指数、s_c指数与其他期刊评价指标的相关性相差不大。【结论】 s指数作为期刊评价指标具有一定的合理性;在期刊评价中需要考虑不同时间、不同学科期刊的下载频次和被引频次的关系。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This study aims to explore the different applications of citation-based s_c-index and download-based s_d-index in multidisciplinary journal evaluation. [Methods] Based on download frequencies and citation frequencies in CNKI of science, engineering, medical science, agriculture, and social science from 2011 to 2015, we established the s_d-index and s_c-index, analyzed the changes of the correlation coefficient of s_d-index and s_c-index, and made a comparison between s_d-index, s_c-index and other journal evaluation indicators. [Findings] Firstly, compared with the h-index, s-index is more suitable for comprehensive evaluation of journal influence. Secondly, the correlation between s_d-index and s_c-index of science, engineering, agriculture, and medicine from 2011 to 2015 is higher than that of social science, and the correlation coefficient of each subject is fluctuated greatly in 2013 or in 2014. Thirdly, except for the social science, the correlation between s_d-index and s_c-index from 2011 to 2015 is not much different from that of other journal evaluation indicators. [Conclusions] s-index has certain rationality as a journal evaluation index, and it is important to consider the relationship between citations and downloads in different periods and different subjects.
