摘要：

【目的】探讨代投论文的识别方法及遏制论文代投的策略。【方法】基于编辑部稿件处理系统投稿论文作者的电子邮箱、联系电话、身份证号码、用户名等个人注册信息,挖掘疑似代投论文,结合专业知识服务平台(中国知网、维普资讯、万方数据、Web of Science等)与搜索引擎(百度、谷歌和360等)进行甄别。【结果】从个人注册信息和投稿论文的可疑内容寻找论文代投线索;通过对信息源的多重交叉验证,成功锁定规模大、代投时间长、成功率高的第三方机构;基于编辑主体责任的防范措施可降低代投论文进入稿件处理流程的可能性,在一定程度上避免了各种深层次、强隐蔽性的衍生不端行为。【结论】论文代投是论文代写、代修、买卖、有偿发表等灰色利益链上的关键环节;代投论文是编辑发现作者学术不端行为的重要切入点;严查代投论文,收紧入口是遏制学术不端行为的有效手段。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to explore the ways of identifying ghost-submitted papers and the strategic measures to stop this practice. [Methods] The ghost-submitted papers were excavated based on the personal registration information such as e-mail address, telephone number, ID number, and user name of the author in the manuscript processing system. Furthermore, we combined with the platforms of knowledge providers such as the database of CNKI, VIP Data, Wanfang Data, and Web of Science, together with the search engines such as Baidu, Google, and 360, to identify the traces of the suspect submissions. [Findings] The whole process starts with checking the personal information available through registration system and the paper submissions, which are the reliable and operational sources to identify the clues for thesis generation. The multiple cross-validation of information sources are taken to locate the third-party institutions with large scaled, long-term investment, and high success rate of submissions. The preventive measures based on editorial responsibilities can reduce the possibilities of ghost-submitted papers proceeding into the process of handling the manuscripts and thus avoid the occurrences of the in-depth and covert successive misconducts. [Conclusions] The ghost-submitted papers are treated as the key link of academic misconduct and thus plays the critical role in connecting with the other elements, such as the paper writing service, revision service, the purchases of papers, and the paid publishing, in the profit chain of journal publication. The ghost-submitted paper is an important entry point for editors to discover the author's academic misconduct, and we could thoroughly investigate the ghost-submitted papers to curb academic misconduct.
