Abstract:
[Purposes] This paper aims to promote the fusion development of scie.pngic journals and new media based on realizing contact point innovation by introducing two-dimensional code. [Methods] The application status and examples of two-dimensional code in scie.pngic journals were analyzed, and suggestions of future application were proposed based on literatures retrieved from CNKI. [Findings] The application of two-dimensional code in scie.pngic journals presents serval disadvantages, such as late beginning, inadequate amount, single form, and deficient function. The two-dimensional code has been applied mainly to content expanding and spreading, official website ide.pngication, community interaction, and advertising, promoting, and publishing for scie.pngic journals. Scie.pngic journals should pay attention to mastering two-dimensional code expertly, sharing and expanding its application, optimizing its amount and location, increasing its recognition, and taking full advantage of flexible code technology. [Conclusions] The application of two-dimensional code in scie.pngic journals should be promoted, the function should be expanded, and the standards should be normalized. We should learn the practice and innovation of two-dimensional code in other industries to make it serve scie.pngic journals preferably.
