Abstract:
Purposes This study analyzes the nature and key characteristics of scientific journals, highlights their significance and unique value, explores the feasibility of scientific journals acting as think tanks, and provides references for building their think tank capacity. Methods Using literature review and logical-deductive reasoning, this paper analyzes the historical background, nature, and core functions of scientific journals and evaluates their potential to serve as think tank institutions. Findings Scientific journals possess characteristics such as professionalism and academic nature, innovation, standardization and reliability, and continuity, and can serve as an important think tank to support scientific and technological decision-making. Conclusions Scientific journals serve as the primary vehicle for disseminating scientific achievements and knowledge. They play a unique role in the propagation of scientific knowledge, the advancement of technological innovation, and the regulation of scientific development. These journals are of significant importance in supporting science and technology decision-making, functioning as think tanks and should continuously enhance their think tank capabilities.

目的 分析科技期刊的性质与主要特点,强调其重要性与独特价值,从而探索科技期刊作为智库的可能性,并且为科技期刊的智库能力建设提供参考。 方法 采用文献调研、逻辑演绎推理的方法,对科技期刊的产生背景、性质、主要功能和其作为智库建设的可能进行分析。 结果 科技期刊具有专业性和学术性、创新性、规范性和可靠性、连续性等特征,可以成为支撑科技决策的重要智库。 结论 科技期刊是科技成果与知识的主要载体,其在科学知识传播、科技创新和规范发展方面发挥着独特作用,对于支撑科技决策具有重要意义,可以作为智库并且应当不断加强自身智库能力建设。
