Abstract:

[Purposes] This study aims to analyze the status quo of mobile publishing of Chinese academic journals, find out the common problems in practice, and propose suggestions. [Methods] The basic information, content, functions, and operation effect of 1454 academic journals indexed by CSSCI and CSCD (2019-2020) on the mobile media of WeChat, Microblog, and App were investigated and analyzed. [Findings] More than half of the academic journals had clear basic information such as the name, icon, authentication, and brief introduction on the mobile media. The academic journals witnessed diverse functions on WeChat platforms but limited functions on Microblog and App platforms. Most academic journals had the following problems on mobile media: low number of published papers, poor interaction, content from printed journals, and delayed updating. [Conclusions] In terms of mobile publishing, Chinese academic journals should emphasize content innovation, develop a multi-channel communication system, strengthen cooperation to develop both the content and services, rely on internal and external incentive mechanisms to enhance the operation ability, and construct an evaluation system for new platforms to promote the transformation of academic journals.

【目的】 分析我国学术期刊移动出版发展的整体图景,发现实践中的共性问题并提出相应的优化建议。【方法】 以2019—2020年度CSSCI与CSCD来源期刊目录所涵盖的1454种学术期刊为样本,基于微信、微博和App,从基本信息、资源内容、功能设置、运营效果等维度,对学术期刊移动出版现状进行调查与分析。【结果】 半数以上学术期刊移动媒体的名称、图标、认证主体、简介等基本信息展示较为明晰;学术期刊微信公众号功能较为丰富,其微博与App功能较为单一;大多数学术期刊移动媒体在发文量、互动效果等方面表现较差;资源内容主要围绕纸刊内容进行开发和推广,但存在更新不及时等问题。【结论】 我国学术期刊移动出版应注重内容创新,构建多渠道传播体系;广泛开展合作,实现内容与服务双驱动;依托内外部激励机制,强化学术期刊运营能力;完善面向新平台的学术期刊评价体系,促进学术出版转型。
