Abstract:

[Purposes] The development of academic journal Apps in China is seriously delayed. By seeking the countermeasures of academic journal Apps, the development of academic journals on mobile can be realized. [Methods] Through the survey of the current status of the development and use of academic journal Apps in China, the sluggish development reasons of group and single journal Apps were analyzed, and the effective substitutes were explored. [Findings] The advantages and feasibilities of progressive web App (PWA), WeChat applet and domain publishing are demonstrated respectively. [Conclusions] The development of platform App is positive as a means of academic communication, but the way of group or single journal Apps does not work. While the development of mobile reading is still one of the future directions for academic journals, PWA, WeChat applet and domain publication can be perfect alternatives.

【目的】突破学术期刊App发展困境,寻找学术期刊App的解决对策,实现学术期刊移动端的长足发展。【方法】通过全面调研我国学术期刊App的开发使用情况,分析不同类型学术期刊App发展受滞原因,探寻其有效替代品。【结果】分别论证了渐进式网页应用、微信小程序、域出版平台的优势及替代学术期刊App的可行性。【结论】平台型App作为学术传播的一种手段,发展情况良好,而刊群App和单刊App的情况则不容乐观,但发展移动端阅读仍然是学术期刊未来方向之一,因此渐进式网页应用、微信小程序和域出版平台等可作为替代刊群App和单刊App的有效方式。
