Abstract:

[Purpose] To discuss the significance,methods and striving direction of the co-operation between scientific periodicals and massmedia in science news report based on the experience of Acta Pharmacologica Sinica.[Methodology] The sixty-six news release papers have been retrospectively reviewed from the year of 2007 to 2011.The practical experience and the problems encountered are summarized.[Findings] Science news release is of great significance in popularizing science,making good service for authors,and expanding the influence of scientific periodicals.Both scientific values and newsworthiness need to be regarded as equally important in the selection of the topic of science news.The good communication w ith scientists should bemaintained before and after news release.Medical themes are highlighted in the news.The overall awareness need to be set up in handling the controversial issues.Commercial use of science newsmust be impartial and fair.Multi-media,multi-channel,multi-language news release are the follow ing steps for scientific periodicals to expanding the influence in domestic and abroad.[Conclusions] Cooperation between scientific periodicalsw ithmassmedia is notonly an importantway of raising public understanding of science and technology,but also a vitalmeasure to enhance the self-communication capability for scientific periodicals.

目的 以《中国药理学报》与大众媒体合作报道科技新闻的实践经验为例,对科技期刊与大众媒体合作报道科技新闻的意义、方法与努力方向进行探讨。方法 回顾分析了从2007年至2011年《中国药理学报》推荐的66篇科技新闻,总结《中国药理学报》推荐科技新闻的实践经验和遇到的问题。结果 此项工作对于科技期刊科普大众、服务作者、扩大期刊影响具有重要意义。科技新闻的选题必须科学价值与新闻价值并重;发表前后做好与科学家沟通工作;新闻撰写重点突出医药特色;处理争议性议题必须树立全局观念;商业利用科技新闻要公平公正。多媒体、多渠道、多语种的新闻发布是我国科技期刊扩大国内外影响的努力方向。结论 科技期刊与大众媒体合作报道科技新闻是科技期刊发挥科普功能、提升公众科学素质的重要途径,也是加强自身科学传播能力建设的重要举措。
