摘要：

【目的】分析开放获取论文是否具有引用优势,为我国开放获取出版发展提供参考。【方法】以开放获取发展相对完善的生物医学工程学科期刊为研究对象,取Web of Science核心合集数据库中工程-生物医学类目下的混合型期刊,比较不同期刊中开放获取论文的引用贡献率。【结果】工程-生物医学混合期刊中,开放获取论文的平均被引频次低于订阅论文,随着开放获取论文和期刊发文数量的增加,开放获取论文的贡献率降低,开放获取论文的贡献率与期刊引用指标间并没有确定的规律。在中等水平期刊中,开放获取论文的贡献率略高于订阅论文;而在低水平和高水平期刊中,开放获取论文的贡献率均低于订阅论文。【结论】工程-生物医学学科的混合期刊中的开放获取论文整体不具有引用优势,但对部分中等学术水平的期刊来说有一定的正面影响,中等水平订阅期刊可以适度考虑转型为混合期刊。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper analyzes whether open access (OA) papers are more frequently cited, hoping to shed a light on OA publishing in China. [Methods] We took relatively well-developed engineering-biomedical journals in OA publishing as research objects. The hybrid journals in biomedical engineering of Web of Science Core Collection were selected. The cited frequencies of OA papers and toll access (TA) papers in different journals were compared. [Findings] The average cited frequency of OA papers is lower than that of the TA papers. As the number of OA papers and journal publications rises, the contribution of OA papers tends to decline. There is not a definite relation between the contribution of OA papers and journal citation index. The contribution of OA papers to medium-level journals is slightly higher than that of TA papers, while the contribution to high- and low-level journals is lower that of TA papers. [Conclusions] Generally specific, OA papers make smaller contribution than TA papers to the citation of the hybrid journals but have positive effect on some medium-level journals, suggesting that medium-level journals can transform to hybrid journals for better development.
