摘要：

【目的】 探究“中英文引文时滞差”现象的形成原因,并在此基础上初步探讨“中英文引文时滞差”对论文质量的影响,进而为提升论文质量及其他依赖参考文献的主体提供建议。【方法】 以《管理世界》期刊2016—2020年刊登的667篇论文为样本,在描述性统计分析的基础上,使用OLS和泊松回归分析方法对“中英文引文时滞差”现象进行分析。【结果】 “中英文引文时滞差”现象普遍存在,且归因分析结果表明参考文献总数和作者人数对中英文引文时滞差存在显著的负向影响,第一作者年龄对“中英文引文时滞差”存在显著正向影响。“中英文引文时滞差”越小,论文质量相对较高。【结论】 撰写中文学术论文时要平衡中、英文引文数量,突出英文引文的新近性,以便提高学术论文质量,同时引用时滞应成为依赖参考文献工作的主体进行评价的一个重要维度。

Abstract:

[Purposes] This paper aims to explore the reasons for the difference in citing time lag between Chinese and English references and analyze the influence on paper quality, which is expected to serve as a reference for researchers to improve paper quality and related authorities to assess papers. [Methods] The 667 papers published on Management World in 2016-2020 were investigated. On the basis of descriptive statistical analysis, OLS and Poisson regression were employed for analyzing the difference in citing time lag between the Chinese and English references. [Findings] The difference in citing time lag between Chinese and English references is ubiquitous. Regression analysis shows that the number of references and authors has significantly negative impact on the difference and that the age of first author has a significant positive effect on the difference in citing time lag between Chinese and English references. The smaller the difference, the higher the paper quality. [Conclusions] It is necessary to balance the quantity of Chinese and English references in academic papers and prioritize in the latest research outcomes to improve paper quality. The citing time lag of references can be used as an evaluation index of papers.
